So when you say install a HDD you mean opening up the PS3 and taking out the current one and putting in a new one? You can't use an actual external HDD? Because I know you can on the 360.
I can believe it and find it crazy that microsoft releases a new version of the 360 and still refuse to drop the price
I can't imagine only having 12GB on my PS3.
Makes sense. A cheaper 12gb model would be perfect for people looking to buy a PS3 late so they can play a few of its exclusives like TLOU and such.
Um I live in Australia where everything is more expensive and I bought a super slim for AU$199 with LBP.

A 12GB PS3 would be horrendous seeing we have to install everything. I don't even see how they launched it in EU.

The 12GB didn't have HDD... you just need to install a new one.
No. You can't install games in an external HDD.
