No no no. It always was always watching, it just had short term memory. If you pressed share you would have the 15 minutes before you ever pressed the button.

 

Now if you press the button you have the option to record like a traditional recorder too.

Hmmm I see. Makes more sense.

This is great, if true.  Can't wait to upload my first video, just to test it out, and to capture all those funky glitches.  And so far, I can't find any feature, besides maybe TV integration, that PS4 doesn't do better than the Xbox One.  Launch day, here I come.

My sources suggest that the PS4 recording system will also be able to be used for a new version of 'PlayTV,'  This time with support for HD and worldwide TV standards.  You heard it hear first!
