Forums - Gaming - What difficulty mode do you usually start playing on?

Hard to start off but I end up regretting it sometimes. I prefer games with 4 settings as normal feels like admitting I'm pretty average and Insanity can be really frustrating first time through. Too much trial and error. It's good to feel godlike sometimes. I don't beat myself up over the hardest achievements but I replay my favourite games a lot.

hard to unlock all trophy's/achievs

Always do the most difficult, I very much dislike easy games.

Who is John Galt?

3DS Friend Code : 2535-4338-9000

AMD FX 8150 , 8 GB DDR3 Kingston Memory,  EVGA GTX 560 TI 2 GB superclocked, Samsung 256 GB SSD

Usually normal... that provides me a relatively good initial challenge and still leave some room for playing one more time in the most difficult levels afterwards.

Yep, its always quickest to get all the trophies when you play on hard. I think devs did that to screw all the gamers who play on normal. If you play on hard you get the all of the achievements for easy/normal and hard playthrough.

I always start on Normal, I like to enjoy the game first time round before kicking it up a notch when hunkering down for that platinum.

If there is online, then I like doing the online trophies first to get them out of the way.

RPGs/JRPGS-normal
anyother type of genre-HARD

Add me if you want but let me know youre from this website

Varies from easy to normal, except for racing games. I want to know the story and have fun while gaming. The times when I played thorugh a scene 10 times are over, I don't have time for unfair AI anymore.

Preferably Hard.
A few games, Hardest.

normal but i it is kicking my ass to much i go down to easy
