A bigger slaughter
Biggest surprises for me
1. Watch Dogs is the highest selling PS4 despite being cross gen, a new IP, and not an FPS
2. Killzone is within a couple thousand units of COD and BF in the US on PS4. That's great news for Sony. It won't be their Halo but it could really help establish PSN as a community if they could get a 5m seller lifetime in FPS. Also it's outselling COD on Xbox One (IN THE US aka Xbox and COD homeland I remind you so worldwide it should be even better for PS4 AND KZ).
3. PS4 must be destroying One in US preorders or PS4 users are just getting more games with their console cause that's a lot more preorders for PS4 games. Given that the US is MS's strongest territory and where the majority of their TV extras are being advertised...well that doesn't look good for MS.
I'm mostly impressed by how well Killzone: Shadow Fall is doing. It's in direct competition with 3 other major FPS series, but still doing a lot better than XBone's most preordered game. This one might actually have the potential to truly establish the series, if it continues getting good preorder numbers, and has a strong launch.
All I want is Infamous: Second Son and Killzone..

Look to my second point lol. COD is hugest in the US and yet KZ is nearly matching it! If Resistance can get 4m off of PS3's terrible launch (also being a new IP and not a very good one imo) then a solid KZ title at launch (a series that has sold nearly 3m before on single titles) can certainly do 5 or even 6m if it lives up to the hype which it looks bloody fantastic so far with those open environments and gadgets.

What a stupid thing to say, it's far from declining, the legs were simply cut short due to the 3ds
Gran turismo 6 won't sell as much as 5, guess that franchise is declining too right?
And It's tracking higher then diamond and pearl "which did open with less then black and white" Guess you did forget the install base difference :/

True, but i don't know if it's only me i played black/white and stoped after the league even though their was so much more to do, but the old games especially rubby/red where soo good.

I didn't really like black and white that much either, but loved the sequels :P
These pre-order numbers have always been hit and miss though...
