Perhaps the resellers are going with the general perception that the PS4 will be in demand while the XO will not. That perception might be gathering inertia like a runaway train, causing an anomaly in pre-orders. Prepare for PS4s to litter eBay.
Those bundles running out might also have scared some of those who were waiting to go ahead and jump.
My big question, however, is why are there no XO bundles on Amazon?

I don't think the demand is there at this point.

The PS4 Bundles are already at $500 which is the price of the Xbox One.
That will make the Xbox One bundles at $600 unless Microsoft is willing to sell the Bundles at a lost for $500.
Microsoft is suffering big time in pre order with this +$100 price and no Halo at lunch that would justify buying the Xbox One. A lot of gamers are not loyal to Company, they are loyal to their pocket.

That's not how it works. It's still a COD game. With that logic Black Ops wouldn't have outsold MW2 or MW1 because it didn't share the same title. |
mw3 outsold black ops 2, modern warfare is the core of cod.

PS4 has an action/platformer, a racing game in addition to an FPS coming from Sony at launch. One has a racing game, a fighting game (F2P)and help me out here? It's unreasonable to assume that somehow the One games have pre-orders but not the PS4 games. |
Ryse is the third game you're looking for. Killer Instinct will not have a retail release; digital only or alternatively you could get a free to play version. Forza and Ryse are doing much better than Knack and Driveclub- but none of them are in the top 100 for Amazon yet. The next gen games in the top 100 are ps4 titles with Killzone doing ridiculously well.

After the mess that was MW3 - I would hope less people bought the next one. But it's not the name "Modern Warfare" that sells a cod game: It's "Call of Duty" that sells a cod game.
I feel like predicting doom for COD or an incredible increase in normal Killzone sales is a little premature at this point. Let's just hold on for a few more weeks.

That's the thing. Killzone is dominating so much that there is no way that the One exclusives are close combined, looking at the low-end cutoff. Also, he says pre-orders are split between One exclusives, but do the exclusives only count? Especially when there are quite a few multiplat PS4 games posting huge numbers there. |
Well I don't think it would be possible for the Xbox One version of a game to outsell the PS4 version XD period lol. Even if it is "the definitive version" of said game. But the exclusives look like they're going to do better than the ps4's exclusives - with the exception of killzone.
