Jeez, the 3DS really drains it's battery down fast when at max settings! I haven't timed it but it seems like it'll only last 2-3 hours when fully charged. I like things being they best they can be, so having to turn down it's setting while I'm out is bothersome to me. Even when I'm not out, I'll find it out of juice after leaving it alone for a while. Let's just say that led to some unfortunate events hehe. So anywho, I'm wondering if Nintendo (or anyone really) made a better battery for the 3DS that I could buy. Yal's help would be greatly appreciated!

i got the backs for the wii motes 3 years ago and they still work i geuss its the luck of the draw

I highly recommend you trade it in for an XL...the battery lasts quite a while on full brightness. But if that's impossible, be cautious in using third party batteries.

Ah yeah, the XL does have better battery life. Other than that, I prefer the original though. Do the two models use the same type of battery by any chance?
