Forums - Nintendo - A biased review: Mighty Switch Force! and Mighty Switch Force! 2

I absolutely loved the first Mighty Switch Force. I'm tempted to get the second one. Daft question, but how does the music compare? Because the soundtrack for the first one blew me away.

RIP Dad 25/11/51 - 13/12/13. You will be missed but never forgotten.

Kick the baby!!! Playing through the MSF 2 now, definitely a great game 8-8.5 is a good score.

Have you play Shantae Rol? If im not mistaken its made by the same company

They've made quite a lot (including Silent Hill on Vita) and if I'm not mistaken, the Double Dragon reboot on PSN/XBLA. I like WayForward a lot! Shantae is something I really need to try as I've heard nothing bt good things about that!

Downloaded it this week (the GBC game). Haven't finished it yet, but if I write a review, it won't contain glowing praise. Maybe I should make it a dual-review with its DSiWare sequel Risky's Revenge.

im playing through the second one cuz i didnt realize it had a prequel! Its pretty fun actually, a little confusing but fun.

I only played the demo. I buy games that I expect to be good.

Good answer. I assumed you had but I dont blame you if you dont.

I loved both of these games, even buying the first one on the Wii U just to play it again. I initially thought that MSF2 was much easier but then I went back and played the first and blew through that one, too. I think that, by the time you finish either game, you have a good idea how the developers think. I never got under par on every level, though. I think I have about three left on MSF2 and maybe five left (including the DLC stages) on MSF. Great games.

The main reason I'm posting is that I was a fan of Wayforward's game Shantae Risky's Revenge. Is the first one available for download on the 3DS? I'd love to try it! Heck, I'd like to play their other game--Mighty Flip Champs or whatever it was called. Their the Nintendo equivalent of Twisted Pixel on the Xbox 360, as far as I'm concerned. Every Wayforward game I've played has been very good.

As I already mentioned in this thread, yes, the first Shantae game is available on the 3DS (since a few weeks). You should be able to find other Mighty games by searching for them on the 3DS eShop. After all, there is a search function in the top right corner of the eShop.

Haven't been on the eShop since downloading Gunman Clive a few weeks back.  Either way, I went there as soon as I typed that post and it was right on front page.  Watched half a trailer and decided I had to own it!
