it will be profit because a lot of people wont even know its not pixar, I didn't know until I looked into it for 5 min.

Could go either way, people may be like "wow its just like Cars, lets go see it" or "wow its just like Cars, what a ripoff"

When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

The movie will do well and probably will make enough money to make a slight profit. I actually hope the movie does really poor just so there wont be a sequel to it. I didn't like the original cars and cars 2 was awful in my opinion. I cant see this movie being any good at all.

           Survivor Millennial vs Gen X!!

I never heard about it but I will definitely watch it.

To be honest this is probably only being made so they can sell more toys and lunch boxes and everything else with "Cars" and "Planes" licensed items. It is pretty much the only reason they made Cars 2 and who can blame them when Cars made over $10 billion dollars in revenue from licensed stuff.

Off topic but, I liked Cars just as much as I like Brave... but probably because I wasn't expecting much from it. I wasn't expecting much from Brave either and it didn't surprise or disappoint me in the end.
*hides*

straight to DVD? I doubt they will see their money back then.

I liked cars, don't know if this movie is hyped or something. first time I hear the name tbh

Tough call, this looks like one of those straight to DVD movies, except it's actually being released in theaters somehow. It's also coming out in the dead of summer where movies that aren't projected to be mega-blockbusters are typically sent to die.

On the other hand it's a family-friendly CGI move that resembles cars, so it'll prolly do $40-$50 million opening weekend. Not a bomb, but not a hit either.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

As long as its better than Brave
