im not saying there isnt a significantly noticable upgrade in graphics (there is) but these picture comparisons seem highly skewed and biased. the games from xbox 360, ps3 are very low res captures, i can find many better looking screen caps from the same game, and then you compare it to bull shots like the forza ones. dont get me wrong forza looks gorgeous, but at least compare forza 2 to a forza 5 racing sceen.

Wow, sounds compicated! I don't make a big deal about graphics so if all games look as good as Killzone and Watchdogs next generation then I will be more than happy. 

I don't give a damn about photo realism either, but good graphics are important.

And I really look forward to realistic facial animation, so I won't feel like laughing anymore during cutscenes

I tried finding better screenshots but couldn't. If you can find better ones please be my guest, I would appreciate it and I'll replace them in the OP. I doubt it would make much of a difference but if you feel it does then go right ahead.

I wanted to compare cockpit view of both Forza's but I don't think Forza 2 has cockpit view (tried finding images). Heres the racing screen for Forza 5

lol Uncharted is still gorgeous.

Resistance was really a crap in graphics... good game.

And Forza 2 had night races lol

hey i have a question, i never saw the first killzone shadowfall pic before. did they also release a video about this part of the game or only pics?

The jump is significant enough to please me, however large or small it may be. Neither system strikes me as redundant and unsurprisingly what we are seeing now is no where near what these systems will be capable of. PS3/360 games have come a long way and I am sure if some of us revisited launch/launch window games we will see a BIG difference.

Below are pics of two launch games for the Xbox 360 back in 05 (FPS and Racing game). Note that they look worse in motion.

comparing little thumbnails isn't really that good of a comparison either. For instance uncharted still looks really good shrunk down, but blow it up to 1080p and it will be a jaggy mess compared to PS4 games.

ahh ok, i saw a e3 gameplay video (i believe from ign) but not the trailer haha
