Why would it be smart? Who cares about the fan base on DS when talking about the WiiU. The DS sold over 100 million, I believe. The wiiU isn't even at 4 f I remember correctly. If they could get 25% of the users to get it (which never happens), they would still barely be at a million. I do really want this on PC though.

How do you know they ARENT paying for it? Sony payed to keep it timed in the past, MS payed to get DLC early. So it isnt free. Now Ninty doesnt seem to be doing that, but thats on them. I get where they are coming from...a bit.

What is there to disagree with? They either cut a deal with RS or get nothing. Its that simple. Seeing as the game will release next month and no one has said anything about it being on Wii U im gonna assume they went with "nothing"

it's a multiplatform title, the chances are rockstar is receiving 0 money from sony and microsoft.

i disagree because not paying doesn't imply "getting nothing". the game can still be on wii u on it's 8th gen version.

Is it coming to WIi U? then they are getting nothing. I dont believe there will be an 8th gen version, there has been no evidence of it.

As for financially beneficial for RS, nope. RS has to worry about their fans, and their fans have the console to play the game on already. If they put it on WIi U, the people who would buy it most likely would have just bought it for PS360, so its not like they would increase their sales

I own the Wii U. I bought it at launch. I'm just being realistic. Yeah they'd probably profit a few, but next to the profit from the PS360 it won't be worth it IMO. I could be wrong though.

the profit in comparison to 75M+ installed bases is irrelevant, by that logic nothing would ever release on a new platform. they would profit on wii u, it would be good for the franchise, for wii u owners, for everyone.

I was talking about Call of Duty Black Ops 2. But pretty much every Wii U port is halfassed, except for a few like Need For Speed Most Wanted and Tekken Tag 2, excpt those games were late as hell.  And i think its a little ignorant to say that Wii U owners wouldnt buy GTA5 on their Wii U (if it comes out) and instead buy it on Ps3 and 360.


This is a pretty good reason for them not to release the game on Wii U. +1 sale on the Wii U is also -1 sale on the PS360.

Youre just making poor excuses on why the Wii U shouldnt get GTA5, even though a fair port could be somewhat profitable.
