My most anticipated game of the year is almost here an I'm pretty excited.  I can't wait to play this game, it looks amazing.  I pre-ordered the game so Ill get the art book, soundtrack and DLC costumes for free, if your gonna pick up the game I recommend pre-ordering it now.  Tales of Xillia looks to be the JRPG of the year for me (in the west I know Japan got the game like 2 years ago) beating out FE Awakening and Ni No Kuni.  So are you guys excited to or do you not care?

I love tales games, but not sure if this will be GOTY.

Really?  I heard the opposite, I heard that Xillia 1 is amazing and Xillia 2 is a let down.

I always associate it with the 97 US 'Godzilla' movie. It's not a good first impression.

What do you mean the game looks visually amazing.  The combat is very fast paced, it doesn't have rando encounters, you see the enemies and when you touch them then you enter combat.  If its like the other Tales of games then this is how the combat goes, you have your basic attack and then you have your special attacks which you can assign 4 of them at a time, you have your usual dodge and block mechanics.  There is a party system where you have 4 members of your party fighting at a time and you can play as any of them, your not constricted to one character.  There are certain attacks where you can link up with someone in your party and pull off a special attack.  Obviously I don't know much about the story, but considering the very high scores it got in Japan I can only assume it has a pretty good story.

oh how i wish i had the money. im going to miss so many games this 2nd half of the year =(

I'll likely skip this one and grab Xillia 2 instead. I heard Xilla 1 was underwhelming but Xillia 2 fixed a lot.

It's very hard to get excited for JRPG's nowadays. It's definitely on my to buy list but I'm not really anticipating it at all.

Don't you think you'll be lost in the story.
