Nintendo Japan has announced that the remastered version of the critically acclaimed The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD will be available to purchase in Japan on September 26th. The HD remake won’t be launching until October in North America and Europe. Let’s hope Nintendo reveals exactly when we are getting it here in the west in the coming weeks.

Sweet, let's hope that means it's in the beginning of October instead of at the end.

On a side-note, I want to have a poster of that picture. You can say a lot about the Wind Waker (I do), but the game does tend to have amazing artwork!

As much as I like Wind Waker this HD title doesn't deserve $60. The value seems to pale in comparison to what Square is doing with X/X-2. It just feels like it's priced too high for what it is.

More content, better resolution and textures, two games, and a cheaper price.
