I have been dreaming of sharing my fantasies of this forever. HERE WE GO.
1. Buy Atlus, Platinum Games, and Sega.
2. Buy Megaman from Capcom and make Megaman Legends 3.
3. Buy back Rare and have them make a new Conker, Banjo & Kazooie, and Killer Instinct
4. Buy Rockstar games and have GTA and Red Dead as exclusives.

Fuck it, just buy every third party company.

well, those points make sense except the last one XD

also, i don't think they should buy Rare, none of the old employees remained there, i think buying the Banjo,Conker and KI IPs and letting Retro develop them is a better idea.

That is actually a better idea. We all know that rare has made such masterpieces in the recent years such as

We don't talk about the dark ages...

and the fact that a lot of old Rare employees are working with Retro only makes things better

Actually I would love a PS VS Nintendo smash game.

Fund a new exclusive megaman game, since capcom seems to be afraid to do so, and have it exclusive to wiiu and 3DS.

Have a studio create a platformer cross-over with Megaman, Sonic, and Mario also exclusive to wii u and 3DS.

Make sure sonic is a playable character in the new smash brothers game.

I will never understand this "Fire Iwata and Reggie" nonsense. This isn't pro sports. When you stumble, you don't just fire the coach hoping the next guy can "fix things", which is often not the case. They definitely stumbled. But, they also just won the goddamn World Championship (they had the highest sales last gen, and continue to dominate the handhelds as they have since 1989). Nowhere in that do I see "Fire Iwata and Reggie". Nor do I think that replacing either or both of those gentlemen would magically, automatically fix anything. The only way to "fix" things, which has been discussed to death on here so much that it's literally a broken record by now, is to actually get games out on the console. Which they're finally doing.

That was my fault, fire is too much of a strong word. I really mean "replace" Iwata and Reggie and get someone up there that have a history and knowledge with games especially Nintendo but also understand what gamers of today want in a console in the year 2013. True, replacing Iwata and Reggie is not going to magically fix everything, no one expects that, but their mistakes are putting Nintendo in a bad image. Why do you think the term "Please understand" is so famous, almost a meme.

I still have faith in Nintendo though. :3

Don’t follow the hype, follow the games

Here a little quote I want for those to keep memorize in your head for this coming next gen.

If it's not already happening - fast track a replacement for WiiU. Make it powerful enough to get all PS4/XB1 ports (could be weaker but close enough that any game could be ported). Push Smash Bros and Zelda WiiU back to Wii3 launch. Yeah, I know WiiU owners will hate me but they'll buy Wii3 anyway.

Buy out western company with strong internet infrastructure, complimentary but differing Ip's and high quality, polished products. Crytek maybe (get a TimeSplitters game out).

Buy Capcom for same reasons.

Put classic Nintendo titles on iOS/Android. Look, let's face facts, they are already on there, Nintendo might as well make some money off them.

Put GC/Wii games on eshop.

Have Retro create a Smash Bros FPS (paintball?) and then maybe Starfox reboot.

Get a Pokemon MMO developed.

Make the new home console focused on family/friends gameplay and return to accessible controller. Basically a cross between a pro controller and a wiimote/nunchuk. So only one controller is ever needed for any game. Focus on games that mobile CAN'T do and Sony/MS WON'T do.

Make the system an ideal home for independents where they can actually make $$.

Have all games peer-reviewed (like Amazon/iOS/Google Play) so any casual can determine gold from crap easily.

Launch new system with steady flow of games.

Keep 3DS as is for now.

Have Samus wake up from the bad dream of Other M and have another adventure (with online co-op and multiplayer)

Make new Ice Climbers and Balloon Flight games (even if just for eshop).

The Wii U can already handle those -.-

personally, i wouldn't like it if they abandoned the WiiU. it'd alien all of their core fans (me included) if they did that, just like Sega did. and if the whole thing is unsuccesful and the 3rd parties won't jump on board (which I'm sure they won't), who'd keep the system afloat? they'd kill their home console business.

It's unlikely a new console could get out (with games) prior to 2016.   That gives WiiU a four year life.  Short, yes but the same as Xbox which by no means hurt 360 sales.   And while the Nintendo core would bitch, they'd all buy the new system all the same once Zelda/Mario/Mario Kart/Smash Bros come out (which would be launch for Zelda/Smash Bros if I was president).

I'd argue they have already killed their home business (terrible sales, assuming a loss on each system).  I'd not be worried about keeping a couple million (who'd mostly likely upgrade anyway) I'd be worried about regaining 96m Wii had than WiiU currently isn't selling too.

Start on a Pokemon console title with an online element.
Offer to self publish and release only on the Wii u final fantasy seven remake
Allow all purchases across the Wii u shop and 3DS coexist
Remove the region lock on their consoles
Be more open with game development and embrace the age of developer diaries
Have an actual e3 show.
embrace Japanese indie developers
Start putting money into 3rd party developers to bring successful multi-plat titles to the Wii U
Begin development on a first person multi-player online enabled Prime 4
And last of all apologies to the people who bought the system at launch for the mishandling of the launch and provide them with enough credit for four full retail titles.

- Learn various Japanese greetings and customs. Probably some Chinese as well just to be safe.
- Find out what exactly the specs of the Wii U can do and what the various R&D teams have planned for the system by way of software and hardware. Depending on what I hear, I may make the plans to phase the Wii U out early or not.
- Pretty much prepare to dump the current heads responsible for recent promotion in NA. But elevate someone from within if a outside talent can't be hired within a month. Try going for a more balance approach in the advertisment then has been seen in recent years, including the occasional TV push or something like their previous cinematic trailer push for major games.
- Attempt to unify the eShop and Club Nintendo allowing gamers to have accounts that they can have access to across systems, along with getting rewards and other benefits. Everything is still free but research will be done to see what sort of features might benefit the creation of a paid membership program.
- Look into really embracing and getting indie developers (world wide) on board with the Wii U and 3DS. I see the indie scene being a big benefit for a system like the Wii U and if Nintendo can provide affordable tools and a market place for them to thrive they could turn the tide in Nintendo's favor.
- Expand some of the studios under the Nintendo umbrella so that they can at least support HD development but not to the size of the AAA games that wind up costing hundreds of millions or profit on most games selling $800k to $1 million alone.
- Find out about selling within China and other territories not yet touched by Nintendo's grasp.
- Look into getting Treasure to do a Sin and Punishment sequel that doesn't seem as "rushed" as the last one.
