I almost miss this thread.

Very good results for WiiU, albeit with the usual "but" that the first 3rd party game is the 9th (but hey, with the support they have given it, what else could we expect?), PS4 and PS3 (surprising given the lack of The last of Us).

Bad results for MSoft, EA and Activision.

A thought: Japanese games and companies do pretty well in this feature. The top 3 publishers are Japanese, the most popular platforms are Japanese, about 3/4 of the top 20 or 25 games are Japanese, etc.

Noticed that too. Looking at Japanese companies offerings fot next generation ( Deep Down, FF XV, The Phantom Pain, Kingdom Hearts, X, Nintendo's projects ) I'd say that Japan is regaining The top ( that would mean less mindless shooters ).
