what about a 3D platformer LBP?

That's where it's got to go next! Hopefully it makes the jump & becomes a fully 3D platformer on the PS4, but I've got a feeling LBP3 is for the PS3, and I don't think it'll be a 3D platformer.

no way! they already have a puppeteer and ratcher and clank for the paltformer genre. one 2d and one 3d. 

For this year? Yeah, they have those two, but I think LBP3 will be out next year. If they announce it at Gamescom I doubt that it would release this year.

that would be the stupidest thing in the world. they already have tons of PS3 games rolling out. they should move on to the PS4 with LBP3, specially since it would be releasing next year not this one

I want it on the PS4 aswell, but Sony will still be supporting the PS3 with games next year, so it wouldn't surprise me if it was on PS3.

Just checked my twitter feed and the official LBP page just tweeted about an 'exicting announcement coming tomorrow', they then replied to a users question with 'we promise it's a good one. ;)'

I think the level creator in LBP2 & LBPV is a lot more open than people think.  Just go and look at the range of levels you can make on it.  There's first person shooters; Mario clones; racing games; tower defence; text adventures; most of the things you can think up are possible.

I'm not adamantly against LBP3(D) but I just think they'd have to be really careful with it.  Taking a level creator like LBP has into another dimension could turn out absolutely horribly.  Equally, I suppose, it could turn out to be something special.

That would work if it wasn't my advanced 3d modeling class or I would walk out for a bit.  We will probably have like a 15 minute break so I'll look up some info during that.  I'll also probably take my vita and have the livestream ready if it's still going on during the break.
