Planescape and Age Of Empires 2 win for me. Still playing them.

The lack of EverQuest in this poll is blasphemous! It single handedly kicked off the most lucrative genre in gaming history, and is still being played by a few hundred thousand people 14 years later.

It was probably the most important game of the 1990's.

I don't know why do people say the poll is bad, all of those games were acclaimed, even more than DK 64, Super Smash Bros.

Out of those lot, Soul Calibur from the Dreamcast. Sonic Adventure (DC) and Super Smash Bros (N64) are also worth mentioning from 1999. Never played Final Fantasy VIII, i could download that if i wanted too though

Now, can you people tell me which of those games is "mediocre", since people keeps saying that the list is sooo bad.

No Ninty games, so the list is bad and you should feel bad. In reality all of them are great and quite a few considered some of the best ever made. No list would ever please everyone, so don't take it personally.

I'm just glad Final Fantasy VIII made top spot, I love that game.

Heroes of might and Magic 3. Still play it from time to time after all this time. Still blows my mind that the town graphics are better in this game then Heroes of might and magic 6 :P.
