I think I want a daughter eventually, also a son, but I know that when she gets older I'll think that every guy is just trying to get in her pants.

I have a5 months old daughter and while I'm excited to watch her grow up I'm also dreading the time when she starts noticing and being noticed by boys. Many say I'm jumping the gun but who wouldn't think about it? She had an older brother so that kind of alleviates the worry but the thoughts still persist.

Good stuff. Too many fathers fail to realize the extreme importance a good father makes in what type of woman their daughter will be.

I'm very happy to say I do almost all of that... never did the journal/letters on birthday thing. But we've been on many dates, dances, fishing, sports, etc. She's a little crazy 7yr, but she has a ton of love and self confidence. She breaks down if I even glare at her with a stern voice. Though I am typically hopelessly wrapped around her finger.

I also own a few guns to demonstrate in front of that first boyfriend. Dirty son-of-a-bitch. >:(
