Forums - Sony - The Last of Us multiplayer is remarkably fun.

Not even teamwork can save some situations, though. I remember good chemistry between my own team in one of the matches and we had cornered the last one of the opposite team. Fuck that, molotovs, bobbytraps, and good aiming put all us down. The fucker.

i thought differently was a pain playing through both journeys to get the platinum

slow paced, lagy sluggish gameplay, pain to change throwing weapons and creating and gathering items

lol at being balanced how can it be balanced for everyone when armor and weapons can be modified mid game you cant go gun on gun and win with someone else if there gun is modified just once

buying stuff takes away from your parts, if you have less parts than you need after the match is done your clan can lose members, which would make you progress slower in rankings and unlock stuff slower. those who keep buying stuff wont progress through the ranks fast enough and those who do will, so they will have an advantage, its well balanced because you decide how to manage these stuff.

incorrect my friend

"Supplies are in game. You earn them by picking them up off of falling enemies that you either killed or assisted on the kill. Also the number of parts you earn during a MP match (basically your score for everything you do in the match) is converted to supplies at the end of a match. These are converted regardless of whether or not you spend them on mid round upgrades or ammo so feel free to spend them all"

Supplies can be purchased as long as they are perks. You don't need to assist or kill anyone.

That's good. I thought the multiplayer would be the letdown for such a high quality game. Many games that have a really good single player have a bad multiplayer.

Thats why you have your team spread out. If everones huddles in a coordior everyones fucked. This is why whenever we get to a tight spot I find another door and flank. Chemistry isn't about sticking together like glue, its about knowing positions and how to play them. Booby traps can be seen easily if you look carefully for whats in front of you. I've seen shard bombs all the time on the floor and stayed away. You can also get a perk for 25% enhanced blast radius with Molotov cocktails.

I didn't say chemistry was going on all together hugged.  Suppresing fire, flanking, and reviving teammates are the key. In this particulary case, we had the guy cornered. But he had supplies on his side, and overconfidence in ours. Plus, the bow is totally overpowered!

Initially I was disappointed with the MP mostly because I didn't understand how to play it. But after playing around 7 or so matches I understood that in order to actually enjoy the MP you have to play it just like the SP mode...something which is incredibly rare in the multiplayer games, all I can say its absolutely phenomenal. But despite how good it is we still need zombies in MP.

The bow kills in one shot in the main game but in multiplayer it takes more than one shot to keep it fair. Its a stealth class and leaves no trace of where you came from unless you were marked from the start. As for the guy you had cornered, a smart and cornered man is still  a desperate man, remember that. The game prompts for you to rush him because no tactics are really required. Problem is no one knew who they were after. I remember being the last man once and defeating a whole team. I threw molotovs and two of my shard bombs at all of them. The first Molotov kill first guy who ran in, but the fire didn't spread to the teammates because they kep their distance. The shard bombs at the other two and one missed and the last killed one but majorly damaged another. I shot the dude in the best and that was all she wrote. Armor is an awesome perk, especially when you're a sniper, because they die really fast.
