Forums - Nintendo - Wii U Version Of Rayman Legends Looks To Be The Most Expensive

It looks as though the Wii U version Rayman Legends is set to be the most expensive version available. The official Ubisoft store has the game priced up at £40 while the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the same game are available for £25.  Interestingly, the PlayStation Vita version is £30, but even that’s not as expensive as the Wii U version.

Xbox 360: £25
PlayStation 3: £25
PC: £25
PlayStation Vita: £30
Wii U: £40

So you push back the game, then try to make up for it, then make the Wii U version the most expensive.

I can hear the, "Third party games don't sell on Nintendo consoles!" argument from a mile away.

I still don't understand why they pushed it back, they said the Wii U version was done, but they never released it.

Wasnt this know before? In Mexico it always was the most expensive one at 799 pesos compared to the PS360 at 599

Sorry for bumping this duplicate thread (even though it isn't locked...)

They pushed it back to meet the other console's release dates since it went Multi-Plat. Bad excuse, I know.

Turns out it was a mistake; Wii U costs the same as PS360 versions.

Don´t the WiiU version have those 50+ extra stages and the challenge mode that won´t be featured on the other versions ?

Considering that both Xbox360, Vita and PS3 versions are incomplete ports of the original game, it´s not that surprising. I just feel that the $ 15 is just too much.
