3DS did well because it has games that people wanted. It's also one of the most affordable consoles out. 

Nintendo did something right with the 3DS. That is why it's doing well. So yes, you are pretty much downplaying it.

Just getting the TOP5 publishers... 15.05m... so if my maths are not wrong Nintendo have 34% of sofware sales based in the TOP5 publishers... that is not dominantion.

And a little hint... there are more publishers than the TOP5 shiiiiiiiiiii... it is a secret, don't tell to anybody.

No, your original post that I quoted said that 3DS was only doing good because the Wii and Wii U were doing bad, then you compared their bad sales to that of the Vita. Your original statement made it out to be the "3DS is only doing good because ___." Maybe you didn't mean that, but that's indeed what many people read off of that post.

What is ur definition of dominating? Beating the competition by a comfortable lead is how I define it, ur implying it needs to sell over 50% of total sales in japan

My definition? Wii sales was close to dominating... the 3DS hardware sales was dominated most weeks in Japan this year... it is a pac-man graph and not below 30% (if you added all publishers I can't see Nintendo with more than 20%).
