Yes. Kinda stopped playing, though. It was fun but I found it kinda discouraging that some cards were just terrible without upgrading them via Golden Abyss. It was a cool incentive to play Golden Abyss I guess, but I didn't want to replay the game just for trophies and dump the time. And sitting there following a guide to get the upgrades is just lame.

A lot of cards just felt horrible without upgrades. I can pay 0 for a +3 to defense... or I can spend 7 for a +4 to defense?!! What the fuck? If I get this trophy in GA, it becomes +8 for 7, at which point it becomes reasonable. Really?!

I like the idea of doing will in game A rewards you in related game B but not like that. Give me new cards for the trophies. Or buff cards that are already decent. Crippling cards until you do something in game A just doesn't feel right.

I agree with you, but it simply makes the game more challenging. That's all. I didn't have any upgrates at all and still managed to beat every opponent on every difficulty available. Same goes with the expansions. I've also read that people who upgraded their cards felt that it was a piece of cake, so maybe it's better not to upgrade them at all.

i tried the demo... too much other stuff out at the time.. i liked it quite a bit though.. although it is really just a magic the gathering type of game with the uncharted logo on.
