Does Batman need an origin? They can just have him show up and be a badass. All we need to know is that his parents died, he decided to fight crime with his money, and he trained to be the pinnacle of human potential. He could just show up like Nick Fury or War Machine did in Iron Man. Just because he's in the movie, that doesn't make it a Batman movie. Just show that it's a bigger universe and Superman inspired all of these heroes to go public.

To ease your mind, go back and watch the "World's Finest" episodes of Superman's cartoon from the 90's that showed Batman and Superman's first meeting.

The only reason they are fast tracking this is to compete with Marvel. They know superman on his own would get crushed by Avengers 2 so they are trying to throw in Batman to make it a more even fight. Ideally they would like JLA in 2015 but I think they know that is too tall an order.

Does anyone else think they may have a little problem in the bat/sup movie since the only way for bat to beat sup is with kryptonite which has yet to be introduced in any form in the movie

...for arguments sake it could be introduced in this new movie...for all we know bruce wayne, multi billionaire, has aquired the only known piece in existence...whatever, it's make believe so it wouldn't be too hard to get around it with the 'magic' of movies...

Assuming they're gonna fight at all. I think they'll go for the reluctant allies at first/becoming friends by the end of the movie approach.

Why do you need another Superman movie? Do you not know the character well enough by now? What would be the point of a Man of Steel 2? They're essentially doing a Superman sequel except they are including Batman. How can you complain about this lol.

because it wont be a superman sequel, they can call it that all they want but you and i both know that batman is going to be the center stage because they didnt do any movies previous with batman. They need to try and introduce him in this movie, and i just cant see it working quite right. See this is why i wanted a few batman films before this idea, which is a good idea, but they have to introduce batman along with still developing superman, and have them fight each other(which batman will probably seem a lot more powerful than he really is),  and have them team up. And they have to introuduce a villian as well, probably lex luthur. THe whole thing like i said in the first post, is just rushing it, they are probably scared of avengers 2 in 2015, so thats why they did this.
