The problem being more than half of those are better on other platforms and prots and indies.

Persona, WipeOut, Gravity Rush and Jak for me. I'd also consider Ninja Gaiden and probably some other stuff as well.
If only I had the time for those games. There's still so many PS3 games to play and loads of 3DS and Wii U releases later this year.

Why buy a PS Vita when you can get a PS3 for almost the same price?

Better on other platforms? What's that supposed to mean? The only "other" handheld outthere right now is 3DS, and that's the only "other platform" with which we should compare Vita. Unless you carry in your pocket your 360 + TV + generator, so you can play that on the go.

You raise a good point and that is why Sony is working on bringing all those japanese exclusives over.

What japanese exclusives?

People are desperate to sell their Vitas right now on eBay. You'll land some pretty sweet deals right now. Remotely interested in a Vita? Buy now before the new games get announced at gamescom!

But but...Vita has no gamez and wont have gamez ;(

That's why you can get them so cheap :P

I know this is anecdotical, but no one I know actually uses his handheld on the go. Not a single person. I think comparing handhelds with home consoles is pretty legit.

No offense, but I see this as a list of reasons NOT to buy a PSV. It's all enhanced remakes of older PS2/PS3 games, PS3-PSV or 3DS-PSV multiplaftorm games, and lower quality spinoffs of main franchises.

The only worthy games on that list are Uncharted and Gravity Rush (and maybe Killzone if it's there)

Not to be a ass, but Nintendo offers more 1st party exclusive games on the 3DS then this list has in its entirty. How many Nintendo games are there on the 3DS now? 20? 30?

I bought a PSP last year, and I'm enjoying that for now. I might get a Vita at the end of life, I like to own every good game, and if Vita only has 2 or 3 good games, it's still 2 or 3 games I want.

Right now, if I were to buy a Vita, I would buy Uncharted, Disgaea 3 & 4, Gravity Rush, and Altleir Tortori and the sequel. 4 PS3 games, and 2 unique PSV games. For 3DS I already have over a dozen unique 3DS games planned to purchase (I just need an XL in a proper colour).

To each his own i guess. Before I owned a Vita I've never play Uncharted, Persona 4, Metal Gear, Muramasa, Need For Speed, Killzone or many other ports/multiplat games. Honestly if it wasn't for the Vita I would have never played them as I much prefer handhelds to console. I have a PSP, PS3, Wii, DS, and 3DS right now and combined I play them only half as much as my Vita. Why? Because in my pinion the Vita hardware wise is the best console I've ever own and even software wise it holds it's own.

What other platform allows you to go from playing Uncharted to Persona 4 to Muramasa to GTA Vice City Stories to Jak and Daxter to Gravity Rush to Final Fantasy VII to Metal Gear to Guacamelee to Super Stardust Delta to then hoping on Youtube, Facebook, Netflix, or just surfing the web? While the 3DS has more exlusive games what happens if I don't really care for Mario and Luigi, Zelda, DK, or Pokemon? There all great games but if you don't like them it limits your selection on 3DS by quite a bit.

I was going to make this a troll thread by having just P4G in the OP but when I thought about it while the Vita is lacking in exclusives it still has a shit ton of great games available to it especially when you count the PSP and PS1 games available for it. Good games are good games multiplat/port,  or not.

Also this isn't necassarily a reply to just you but to other people as well.

Because the PS3 is like seven years old.

Because you need 3 PS3's.

Subjective opinion on bolded/italic/underlined - I would say content wise 30%-40% of the ports are better on the consoles and that is because they were side to side releases rather than enhanced ports. (Which is subject itself I guess as well xD)

However the facts about certain enhanced ports are

-P4G is a enhanced port which includes a new character, additional personas, character outfits, expanded lines/animated cutscenes, two new social links and some sort of garden where items get spawned to be used in dungeons.
-Muramasa Rebirth includes 4 new playable characters with their own storyline and bosses
-Disgaea 3 Vita includes all of the DLC from the PS3 ver included with it along with a whole bunch of stuff that is too long to post: http://disgaea.wikia.com/wiki/Disgaea_3:_Absence_of_Detention
-Ys Memories of Celceta: 3D remake of this: http://www.emuparadise.me/Super%20Nintendo/Snaps/Ys%20IV%20-%20Mask%20of%20the%20Sun%20(J).png

I would rather get them on the Vita than on the consoles.

--------------------

What the Vita needs though isnt indie titles (which can easily be done on PC the ultimate platform indies) but some AAA franchises - although CoD did terrible - it allowed itself to sell decently ironically.

They just need to have a proper CoD game, a GTA game, Final Fantasy, Tekken, and whatever other big franchises are there to make the library more appealing to the mass public. Plus memory cards and a official WW price cut.

Not 100% on topic, but I'd kill for a Dissidia X Kingdom Hearts on the Vita *_*
