Where'd they say that? And yeah I asked the rep about it and he said it was simply the TV. The one at Best Buy was a much higher quality than Gamestop's kiosk, which is understandable as durability is more important for a demo station.

GameStop's everything is slightly low-quality. So figuring out that their TV's also suck isn't much of a surprise.

This whole event completely flew over my head. My brother went to GameStop yesterday and I didn't want to go... not knowing this Nintendo Event was going on! What a failure!

Oh yes it definitely makes a difference! That clear 1080p resolution and that buttery smooth 60fps, they do wonders! Combine that with a high quality TV, and not even haters can deny that games like Super Mario 3D World look awesomes!

Btw did you get to play any of the games?


yes I played Pikmin, and I fell in love with it (I generally liked the look and gameplay of the series but I never played the games myself), I ordered Pikmin 1 & 2 so I can play them while waiting and catch up with the series in the meantime :P I also own Dream Team since I have a PAL 3DS, and I've been enjoying the game a lot.
