anyway M&L were mentioned a couple of days ago that it would be demoed also Pikmin is confirmed to be rendered at 720p but upscaled to 1080p and play in 60fps

Where'd they say that? And yeah I asked the rep about it and he said it was simply the TV. The one at Best Buy was a much higher quality than Gamestop's kiosk, which is understandable as durability is more important for a demo station.
