It would be a bit less inconvenient – wifi eliminates buying FOUR link cables, and player 1 wouldn't need a 3DS cause he's got the gamepad. Still not for everyone, but finding a few friends with a 3DS isn't that unlikely, while convincing friends to buy an otherwise useless cable is quite a hindrance.

They wanted to show it, but they aren't ready? Oh ho ho, looks they want some more incentive on buying WW. It would be good incentive and surely boost sales.

I hate Wind Waker so I'm not interested personally, but from a business perspective a hardware bundle or a Zelda U teaser seem like the smartest options.

Should be good for roping in GCN guys who grew up with the original but have since left Nintendo.
