Like I said I was gonna do, I tried to squeeze as much info out of the Nintendo rep that I could, namely pertaining to future events. As the title implies, he said the 3DS will soon join in on the Wii U's fun, starting with a Mario & Luigi: Dream Team event, though it happens on the same day the game releases, but that's understandable as there's barely anytime left before it's launch. Plus as I learned from the rep, these events (Pikmin one included) were planned after the success of the E3 Best Buy demos, so they really were cutting it close, disproving some of my previous theories lol. He also said a Pokemon X/Y event is a no brainer, as is releasing the X/Y 3DS XLs here in NA. Looks like that's another $80 I have to fork out unless they do a deal hehe.
