I hate this kind of crap. People clearly arent interested in this game if they are still making the same claims even though several visdeos on the internet debunk all these claims.

Several videos still support these claims, your only looking at one side...Also how am I not interested in the game, did you even read what I said to begin with?  I like everything about the game except the gameplay.

Go check the Ryse tread. Actual showfloor gameplay thats faster, and has players completely ignoring the QTE's.

They are optional. And the enemies are confirmed on 30% health during E3 and Comic con.

This arguement about the QTEs being optional so its okay holds no ground, just because the QTEs are optional doesn't mean they arn't a big component of the gameplay and they are obviously a big component of the game or else they would not have been emphasized so much at the revealing of the game...I have seen the showfloor footage, a guy making the game describes the QTEs as executions then says they are mini-games...mini-games lol.  I don't know what their health has to do with anything, it still looks like a game that requires little to no skill.

Most of the time you don't need to play a game to know if its gonna be good or bad.

Ryse is sounding like a potential disappointment. But I'd rather wait for the final product before I deem it a bad game.

Some people are too concerned about Ryse. If its good, great. If it sucks, people will avoid it.

And they are saying they played the same thing they did at E3. The developers said that the combat will be fully integrated in a later build and people who played it behind closed doors got to play that build.

Go to the link and watch the video. I have it starting right at the time you need to watch. Educate yourself please.

This is probably the 5th time I've had to say this...I have seen the showfloor footage, I know the QTEs are executions, the guy on the showfloor even went as far as to say the QTEs are mini-games...the gameplay is basically you mash a button to attack and when the enemy is low enough you do an execuation or QTE and repeat and repeat and repeat.  Also the arguement that the QTEs are optional holds no ground too, it is obviously a huge component of the gameplay or else it wouldn't have been emphaized so much in the E3 demo and the developers have said there are 100+ executions so they put a lot of time into these QTEs.

The video from IGN seems pretty good in its comments, mainly because what they have said they have been told by the developers. That would personally sound alarm bells off for me.

If I was getting an XboxOne day 1, this would not be a day 1 purchase for me... way too many potential questions/issues that interviewers are raising at the moment.

Have to wait and see...

Making an indie game : Dead of Day!

Yeh I didnt think much of it....I really like the era its set in so I hope it turns out good.

This should clear some things up: http://www.gametrailers.com/videos/3ozbqd/ryse--son-of-rome-e3-2013--in-depth-with-combat--cam-

So basically the QTE are executions, his only defense was that they are optional...He actually went as far as to call the execuaions mini-games...my god this guy needs to get fired.  It still looks like a game that basically plays itself and requires little to no skill.  Honestly I think my grandma could play this game XD.

I think that's where they are aiming at ;p

so this will be the new thing now for every xbox products... Bash it before it comes out.

Well, I "played" Uncharted via Youtube. Was a lot of fun watching guys "playing" it.

Really, nowadays some games take too much off you and are "too" cineastic. Ryse could be just another example.

I really appreciate games which are really meant to be played.

I basically praised everything else about the game except the gameplay...and if Sony or Nintendo released a trailer with gameplay like this I'm pretty sure everyone would be hating on it to.

It doesn't look like they have a combo system either. Looks more like Assassin's creed's combat which I'm not a big fan of. The executions don't help either- I feel like it takes you out of the action.
