Microsoft has filed applications with the United States Patent & Trademarks Office for two new "game software" trademarks - Tentacles: Enter the Mind and Ori and the Blind Forest. Pretty mystifying, no?

The first application was made public on 1st March, the second on 4th March - neither has been examined by an attorney at the time of writing. There's not much to go on, but if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that these sound like digital-only or mobile titles - perhaps one of the four new "triple-A redefining" games in the works at Microsoft's recently founded cloud and mobile specialist studio, Lift London. There's also Press Play, developer of Max and the Curse of Brotherhood plus several unannounced original IP. "Ori and the Blind Forest" has a definite whiff of fairytale adventure to it.

New games sound intersting

I really wish sites would stop looking into stuff so hard. This is most likely the EXACT situation that happened with that game Throne Together which turned out to be a touch game.

MIGHT BE what lift london is working on. But I agree with you. This can be another joke but still might be something big we need to wait.

It would be Press Play http://www.metacritic.com/game/ios/tentacles-enter-the-dolphin

I have that game and it is pretty good.

Oh and yes, i finally got the update while i was sleeping :D

Dissappointed a mobile game. I remember press play said they will announce their new Projects near gdc.

Now lets hope other games are something big but now my mind says they ate mobile games also. Microsoft I don't like this announce more XBox one games and show gameplay footage for halo, sunset and quantum.
