The only time he comes in here is when he wants to spread negativity.  I could find lots of posts in this thread of him just doing that.  Then go into PS Nation and see him doing nothing of such things (Yeah i go there, just dont post as i dont feel welcome)

But, this statement is not true to every japanese dev. That's why CAVE schumps were exclusive to 360, that's why Swery65 is making a Xbox One exclusive and not Ps4 exclusive (look at Deadly Premonition sales), and that's why overall eroge visual novels, like Steins;gate, had an incredible cult following on MS machines in Japan.

 

Sure you can say Tales sell more, despite Vesperia moving great numbers (not in Japan, though, so that's where Bamco aims for), but its not always releasing on what console will sell more, but the fact that both can be profitable.

 

Don't you wonder why Atlus is releasing Ultimax on 360 too, despite the low sales of Persona 4 Arena?

that and everyone knows that big japanese titles actually sell better outside of Japan.... Japan for games is like Paris for Perfums it's nice to have it stamped on the package but it's only to sell more in other regions..

Namco doesn't have much business sense. They'd rather put tales games on Vita (not crapping on vita) than on 3DS. If MS would pay to also put it on, they'd probably get the same multiplats.

If it didn't happen with the 360 era I don't think it will ever happen. lol Tales of was one of the reasons I got a PS3.

Xbox One Twitch app broadcasts at higher quality than PS4

720p streams and archiving support for Twitch on Xbox One. That'll be nice for Titanfall!



It looks like broadcasting to Twitch might be better on Xbox One than PlayStation 4.

Canny Reddit user rotj ran Microsoft spokesperson Larry 'Major Nelson' Hryb's recent stream of Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare through the Twitch Analyser, which determined the Xbox One Twitch output is of a greater resolution than that of PlayStation 4.

Major Nelson's stream was broadcast at a resolution of 1280x720, while Twitch streams on PlayStation 4 weigh in at 960x540. Both platforms output at 30fps.

Additionally, Xbox One Twitch streaming will not broadcast audio from Party Chat, and streamers can see chat and viewer statistics without them being displayed on the stream.

The Xbox One will also allow streamers to archive their streams, which is a much-requested bit of functionality the PS4 currently lacks.

Twitch streaming on Xbox One will roll out with the platform's March update, which promises to improve, among other things, the Party Chat experience. Microsoft is making no secret about the fact that it's implementing these features to make way for the launch of Titanfall on March 11.
