Update: Microsoft has removed Titanfall's pre-load page from Xbox.com, as the "pre-purchase offer page was posted in error. We apologize for any confusion."

In a comment issued to Polygon, Microsoft said, "We believe in digital distribution, and are proud to give gamers a variety of ways to purchase and experience their games. However, pre-purchase and pre-download for Titanfall for Xbox One will not be available from Xbox Store. We'll continue to strike a balance between digital distribution and its benefits, while supporting physical games purchase through our retail partners."

That's what I want. Halo 2 this year, another year for polish for 5, and then a 2015 launch.

That's what I want. Halo 2 this year, another year for polish for 5, and then a 2015 launch.

THIS, let Halo 5 be amazing. Halo 2 will more then hold us over. Game was/is amazing.

And Rayman Legends is fantastic, just picked it up when it released on PS4. I find it hard to put down. The Murphy levels are a pain since they slow the game down but there's only a handful of them. The rest of the game is amazing. Second best platformer this gen, only behind Rayman Origins.

Well, it would have been nice for the pre-download but as long as that bitch is available at midnight then that's cool, even if the dl takes hours.



I LOVE paying for Xbox Live! I also love that my love for it pisses off so many people.

Makes sense that the Titanfall download isn't available until release day.

You always run the risk of alienating your marketing partners.

Luckily/unlucky for me I work that day so I will just purchase and begin the download when I leave for work and play when I get home. It will probably take that freaking long to download.
