I have less information some of these other guys here so im not the right one to answer this but apparently Microsoft is experimenting with a discless Xbox One for $399 to be available this holiday season.

If the Halo 2 remake has the same exact gameplay as the original (meaning 4 shot br, superjumps, BxR, etc.), and I mean the SAME exact gameplay I will immediately purchase an Xboxone without hesitation. As long as their isn't standby or modding we are all good.

No weapon drops, no loadouts this isn't CoD. This is Halo! Also keep the 1-50 level system, it actually brought people back wanting to play as a team and use their mics.

Agreed. I think Halo 2 Anniversary is coming this year, but I think Halo 5 is too, 343 already said 2014 afterall. Halo 2 Anniversary will release a few month earlier so as not to conflict with Halo 5's sales, and it'll come with a Halo 2 remake map pack for Halo 5 that will coincide with Halo 5's release. Maybe, but I do hope Halo 5 is pushed to 2015 just to give it that extra polish it likely will need. 343 needs to make Halo 5 great because it will be the first big Halo game for the X1. If it doesn't win over the fans that would really tarnish 343's name as a developer.

My own theory is that MS is releasing Halo 2 Anniversary with all the original multiplayer, ranking, etc. MS will see how popular the demand for that ranking is. If it bolds well in sales and keeping a good population of players, they will really push for TSR in Halo 5. Of course that is what I'm hoping for lol.

Haha, That wasn't my comment, Somebody from Neogaf =P But it does look allot like his been set up and this was all planned, Endagadget have reported it now Lol

Shame about Rare, Phil said they aren't making any plans untill after KSR launches on twitter then that person said that in the leak so looks true


I saw the twitter comment but im not going to say i believe Phil. I  believe he does know and that he isnt going to say anything until they actually reveal it.  Though i dont think it will be revealed until next year.  Rare was specifically hiring for action/adventure and shooters last year so i would assume that isnt a coincidence.  If we are to believe it takes 2-3 years to develop then next year we should see something about it.

Well they never said halo 5 was coming.  They said Halo Xbox One was coming.  MSFT was being so discreet witht he name that i have been curious to see if it actually was halo 5.  And as i said before im happy with this ifit turns out true.  In my opinion Halo 5 coming in two years is two quick.  I want them to take their time so it can be as good as it possibly can.  Plus i love halo 2 so i have no issue xD

Halo 5 releasing at Holiday 2014 would be nearly 2.5 years dev time actually, it began production in Summer 2012 with a partial dev team, then when Halo 4 was completed in September 2012 the whole dev team would likely have started on it since 343 didn't make the map packs for Halo 4. Still, a late 2015 release could do the game alot of good, especially if the previous leak about Halo 5 neing open world with multiple planets to visit was true. And as my favorite Hlao game yet, I'd love Halo 2 Anniverary with it's own multiplayer + Halo 5 beta access.

Oh, didnt know that.  Yeah id be up for the Halo 5 beta though xD 

If halo 5does release this year ill be happy.  If it doesnt and Halo 2 anniversary does, then ill be happy lol  No worries from me either way xD

Ports of Halo 3 and 4 on Xbox One? This is starting to sound waaaaaay too good to be true.

yeah i saw that.  We will see, id take everything said with a grain of salt.  Cool if true, but we will see.
