WHAAAAAAAT?!!!

Jk, such great series though. Wouldn't say story is their strongest point, but they make up for it by having so many areas to explore. You can spend hours just doing side-quests and going through dungeons xD

I never notice framerate issues very well unless it's pretty bad, and I noticed it heavily through cutscenes. Not unplayable, but definitely noticeable. 

The actual gameplay is better though, then the cutscenes. 

Framerate is almost always above 30 and never drops as low as ps4. Because of the unlocked framerate it stutters ( which I really don't notice) what makes people think it are framedrops but that isn't true. The next patch will include a lock so there won't be any problems anymore. But for me the game has been rocksolid, no drops and I've been in the swamps

It's surprisingly smooth tbh. You notice some skipped frames in cutscenes now and again, but while actually playing I never notice anything

I'm not that far into the game yet, only played like an hour last night and spent a lot of it practicing the combat. Angelus has played obsessively, so his word holds a lot more weight then my own. 

What I've seen in actual gameplay, it's pretty unnoticeable, cutscenes to me are a different story. 

Next Witcher 3 patch will add a 30fps lock

Come now Star! How can you not get into them? There's definitely good bits and bad bits but there's just something inherintly awesome about running around stumbling across random caves and killing crabs whilst stealing sweetrolls and having the entire empire after you for sneezing too louldly. That doesn't even talk about the depth of the levelling, the items, the equipment...sure the quests and gameplay can get a touch repetitive but it's still a highly enjoyable title and series. 

In short, definitely would reccomend picking up say Skyrim on Steam or whatever when it gets super cheap!

Ugh... I might actually stop playing altogether for awhile and just wait for everything to come through. I really don't like playing games where I can miss stuff and this seems incredibly overwhelming.
