If MS gets another big third party exclusive, or timed exclusive, I wish it would be something cool at least. Not another fucking zombie game.

I kinda agree with this, though. As much as I love them, zombie games have gotten out of control. Give it a rest, and then a few years from now ask Capcom for another Dead Rising game and we're set.

Resident Evil is huge in Japan. It will push Xbox One from less than 50k LT to above 200k easily. If it was good and its release date is close to Scalebound, it can push the Xbox to 400k even.
They can't get any franchise bigger than RE (I don't think RE is possible by the way, not a mainline game at least). If you want Xbox to be in a better shape in Japan you should hope this rumor is true.

RE would be a fine exclusive if true.
And Code Veronica was much of the same to me back then but with a shinier graphic.

So about the witcher 3 after some hours:

Game is fantastic. So beautifull, beter gameplay combat especially is a big improvement. The open world is full of atmosphere. Didn't really notice performance issues in gameplay, cutscenes stutter a bit tho. Maybe only negative is that there is a really big hud ( which you can turn off) and that the menus are a bit shitty. Looking forward to immerse myself in the world

Having zombies doesn't mean the games are similar.

Dying Light, Resident Evil, Left 4 Dead, State of Decay, Walking Dead, and Dead Rising have nothing in common other than having zombie as the main enemy. They are totally different games from each other, totally different experince.

We have humens holding guns and acting the same in almost every game. Why is that different?

Because the plot suffers a lot. Which is exactly what has happened with FPS nowadays, aside from a few gems.

Zombies just aren't a compelling enemy to build so many games around. They are literally brain dead enemies, slow, predictable, not in the least bit intimidating, and they don't provide for a good story or a main antagonist so you always end up with the same boring scenarios over and over again, and despite all these weaknesses almost every single developer makes the mistake of throwing them centre stage of the act instead of focusing their attention on the human characters that could make the whole thing compelling......no it's gotta be all about zombies, brains, and the cliche military faction or private corporation that caused it all.

Zombie games are some of the weakest in the industry

Zombies are the best. So much variety. The Walking Dead, Resident Evil, Left For Dead, H1Z1, DayZ. The Last of US, Nazi Zombies and more. I can never recall a time FPS had good plots.

Phone game achievements.. I feel bad getting these. Feels like child play.
