Just because they are focusing on Gears (Which is the more clever option since it's already a huge IP) Doesn't mean they will be a Gears only studio, Like I said, Lionhead seem to be making a new Ip now so I don't see why Black Tusk wouldn't either and Rare seem to be working on multiple Ip's

I agree with the bittersweet statement. Love gears and glad to see it going on but also upset in the delay/cancelation or whatever it is with the new ip

well obviously the 4 ip's is wrong but it was said at one point so it has brought in specuation.

I wouldnt say theyre exclusively a gears team though. Their main focus may be shifting at the moment but that doesnt mean their other game is being canceled.

So with MSFT teasing new ip's coming and we now know Black Tusk isnt going to be one of them who do you all think will be announcing new ip's? Do you think they will be AAA games, Arcade games, or B Rated games similar to Banjo?

lol xD I wouldnt say im doing damage control, im just being extremely hopeful that the new ip hasnt got canceled. It all sounded really good on paper and from them hyping it up so i wanted to see whatever it was. I still am hopeful but im not upset either as i like gears.
