If you like simracers you should really buy project Cars. Yes it has some technical issues but it's still manageable. IMO after playing it for a while it's the biggest step forward for console simracers since Forza 3 IMO. The screentear isn't that bad it's mainly the bad framerate but overall it's a really fun game. I'm going to give it a 9 on my review

Project cars is overrated from what I could gather.

Not surprised, this kind of community projects always are.

Looks like a good racing game to me, if the XBO controls are fucked or if framerate and tearing is bad on consoles it's another story, the community worked on the game itself and not the console ports as much as I can tell.

Most Steam users seem to be satisfied with it. Has a "very positive" right now after 350 reviews.

I'm talking about the console reviews, 87 on meta.

"When it works, Project CARS is unbelievably good. But overly-aggressive AI, odd collision physics, imperfect pad controls and several bugs mean it's just shy of greatness."

this can't be a 87.

Well, the biggest complaint on XBO is about the  controls with controller.

I still don't think that it would be better if it would be their next racing game without community input. I think it would be worse without the community helping them.

Wow after what we were discussing yesterday (or was it Tuesday?) this is a very risque comment.

But it's one I disagree with. Just Cause 3 for me. Though some excellent games up there.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Game is a blast xD  Been playing it a lot lately.  I get so addicted to it.  By far my favorite zombie game.  But ive not ran into a ton of glitches.  It does have some frame rate issues though xD  Im hoping for a State of Decay 2 announcement at e3

Same here, I have been glued to it for days. I hope they add co op for the next one.

I'm curious, how can you screw up controls with a racing game? Seems pretty straightforward to me, no racing game I've ever played on a console had controller issues. Right trigger for gas, left trigger for brake/reverse, A button for handbraking, left stick for steering, right stick for head movement, it's really quite easy.

Steering with the stick seems to be the problem for many, the rest seems to be fine. There are already tips how to change the settings (seems as if you can change the controller settings a lot) and maybe that works better then...

Btw, you realize that this quote is from the XBO version and that especially the XBO version (which doesn't have a Metascore atm) has the problems with the controls (and maybe also bugs)?

You use the Meta of the PS4 version where much less people complain about the controls and take an XBO review to say it's too high? Let's wait until we get an XBO Meta with 10 reviews or something, if that will be also so high then we can say something is odd.

So it's a steering senstivity issue? I did notice that the steering looked pretty jerky in that Digital Foundry analysis video.

Yeah, they are like "on some cars it's too sensitive, one some it's not sensitive enough" and so on... lol

Hmm I didn't say community input was bad, I just said that it's usual overrated.
