I woudn't have got XBO if it wasn't for Gears/halo. 

I own shadow of mordor, I put it on the rpg list. These type of games are a boringfest for me, unless they have a cool setting like Japan, HP/SW/LoTR worlds.

So....you wouldn't have gotten an Xbox if it wasn't for Halo and Gears.....but you avoid shooters like the plague.......that makes total sense

Shadow of Morder is an action/adventure game, not an rpg, but whatever, even if those games aren't typically for you cus you don't like them doesn't mean you can just disregard their existence and their value to the market and call the Xbox a shooter box. 

Shooters of poor quality of course, like COD and stuff like that. Good shooters are rare, that's why I avoid most like a plague. I own shit like Destiny, the biggest new shooter this gen... yeah, I'm ok with sticking only to my gears shooting.

You know what all those action/adventure games are? multiplat.

People call XBO shooter box for having, halo, gears, titanfall, SO.. exclusives. Get what I mean? 

People are truly buying it for shooters as well, just look at the sales of something like Dragon Age.

Which on XBO released games invested MS in (for exclusivity or marketing rights)?

Most games are clearly not shooters and that many huge AAA games are shooters isn't what MS decided, Star Wars, Destiny, Battlefield, all of them are games which get these huge budgets because of the publishers.

And I can't say it often enough, that many Japanese devs don#t release their games on Xbox is mostly their fault and not MS's, MS could pay for some more but if a game like Persona won't come to XB is the decision of that publisher/dev, if they don't want to release their game on XBO it's their choice. To expect that MS will simply pay every freaking Japanese dev who refuses to release their games on XB without a pay cheque is crazy. Those devs can be happy that PS4 is doing so good or they would be in an even worse position as they already are with their genius business senses.

Just because a game is multiplat doesn't make it a lesser game, or that people won't buy a system to play it. In fact what you just said totally contradicts your standpoint about Xbox needing jrpgs that are coming to PS4, because if it had them then those too would be multiplat and not worth identifying the console with.

And ya shooters are popular. And Xbox just so happens to have arguably the best shooters of any platform. That doesn't mean people aren't buying other games. To what extent they buy them is their business. Are the sales of Dragon Age lower than some popular shooter? Ya. But that's the case on PlayStation as well. And it'll be the case for most games, because shooters are simply that popular.

Also XB1 has the most diverse lineup of games, I disagree that it should be called shooterbox, XB1 just has the best shooters. XB1 also has the best racer and best platformer.

For some reason I talked about LO, BD and such. Having the multi would help, of course. On the RPG space, if you have >50% of the games exclusive to one platform.. you know where the fan base will go for. But if you have 90% of those games (just missing the niche) you are still in a strong position to grab that fan base together with strong exclusives being shooters or racers. Doesn't mean it will be know for rpgs, cause is lacking on the rpg exclusive aspect, but it will be know for having some variety still.  

For example the latest battlefield and cod sold more on xbox. (US wise, where XBO isn't that much behind) That tells you which fan base is getting the XBO. While DA sold way more (US wise, again) on ps4. 

You guys go on and on talking about Xb1, but your points don't make much sense. Titanfall and Halo MCC, maybe SO. Ps4 KZSF, The Order, tlour. Just because the ps4 shooters aren't as good doesn't mean you punish the XB1.

Also of course games are selling better on ps4, there are 8 million more potential customers.  You should be impressed with how much XB1 software sales have kept up.
