Anyways while i do think a lot of companies are doing it i dont think its right to just assume company x is doing the same without hard proof. For example i havent seen proof that Sony or Nintendo has been doing the exact same thing....likewise i dont think Valve is doing something like this either. Theres a number of other gaming companies that I dont expect to do this kinda thing or need to for that matter. Unless theres actual proof of this and youtubers come out and say whose doing what (which they probably wont) then it will be hard for us to tell who is doing what behind the scenes.

Well I wasn't talking about gaming in particular just about any big name that has a fan base does it period..... And it is not as much a hem directly but advertising/marketing agencies/partners etc they partner with....

I haven't done much social media advertising myself in the past few years... But I know for a fact that there more chances to have bought likes on FB, YT, fake trash or positive comment on forums... Fake videos etc than paid journalist on IGN, game former, smartphone and PC or tech big publications... Contrary to popular believes...

I do,'t need more proof than my experience and my network for that, it's cheaper, legal, and usually way more efficient... And journalist have way more ethics than customers... It's been like that way before the uprising of socialnetworks

No, Major was not on stage.  He actually wasn't even in the auditorum - but a seperate room as he was tweeting and doing other stuff.  He had to watch it remotely.  He said he doesn't know all of what is going to be shown onstage until the rest of us.

I was there though. It was very cool (and LOUD).  I  hope I get to go again this year.  The World of Tank demo was really fun, as they had lights all around the place moving like a green fuse about to go off.

I think there is some unspoken rule that all Ubisoft host have to be bad.  I don't know who made it, but they seem to enforce it since they took the reins from Activision.  It does get them talked about, and makes their games look better by comparison.

She even has some talent in shows and Archer, but as a host, just so off putting.
