Not dropping price much is a good sign if you ask me.

For the publisher sure, it means a higher profit margin for them, but for the consumer, not so much. For certain games the lack of price drops signifies that they are really popular, Pokemon for instance, but that's not really the case with Forza, it does pretty well (#2 racing sim), but there are more popular series like Halo and CoD that get prices drops faster than Forza does. I wonder if it's because they have to pay for the rights to use licensed cars in the game, maybe that cuts into their profit margin so they simply can't afford to drop it's price very often?

Seems to be a US thing really.. it drops price in UK just as quick as any other popular game.

Maybe licenses in US are expensive.

Probably. Now we know why Porsche isn't in Forza I guess, that license must cost more than any of the other car makes.

Forza is the only Microsoft series where you can't find a copy for $20 a year after release. Forza 5 is 1 year and 4 months old and it costs $44 on Amazon right now.

EA owns the rights to video game porsches.

Just saw this... EA...

EA has it. GT doesn't have Porsche as well.

Pretty sure I played a lot with Porsches on Forza 3. :(

Ah, that's EA for you. Always buying up the exclusive licensing rights to things, NFL, Porsche, etc. Fortunately I'm not a big Porsche fan, so I can live without it in Forza. My favorite European make is Mercedes, Mazda for Japan, and Ford for the US.

Audi, don't like japan cars, ford as well.

All my family got ford :P

Forza 3 had 35 Porsche cars!

Forza 4 had none.
