Yeah, it sounds like Microsoft is working on convincing more Japanese developers to go multiplat. If they can actually convince more Japanese developers to go multiplat it'll make the Xbox One a much more attractive option for Japanese gamers as well as Western fans of Japanese games. A few key exclusives plus increased multiplat support and the Xbox One should easily pass the 360's sales in Japan.
Honestly it shouldn't be that hard for Microsoft to convince Japanese developers to go multiplat, if you look at the sales of Japanese games on the 360 there is plenty of demand for Japanese games in the West. Most Japanese developers who have already gone multiplat are seeing 25-35% of their total sales on the 360 and a few are even seeing 40%, that's definite justification for more Japanese developers including the Xbox in their release plans imo.

Agreed. I mean they already got KH 3 and FFXV, and those are two of the biggest juggarenauts One could get. Smaller games like Child of Eden are also coming to the One.
MS has the money to fund development of those games as well. So I'm hoping there will be more to come to Xbox and if it does come to Xbox, I hope they localize it as well.
