Difficulty cant be adjusted and i will say it is hard, but fair.  Love that about it to be honest.  As for how the character moves, it feels perfect.  Like everything feels tight, not floaty.  Honestly havent played a better feeling game when it comes to platforming.

It is more Metroid and Castlevania than Rayman, however it is more platformy than both of those as far as im aware because it puts a heavy focus on platforming across the world.  However, unlike Rayman, wherever you see you can reach in an open world metroid like world.  But Ori's limitations will keep you from reaching these locations so you need to unlock other abilities similar to Metroid.

Thanks Jay, I like hard but fair games.

Wow Ori looks just like the perfect game to own this spring.

I played all evening yesterday, I rarely do that with new games.  It truly is a great game.  Id recommend it to anybody.  Even my friend who hates platformers bought it yesterday because the artstyle, the music, and because it has a 99% on steam.  I asked him a few days ago if he was going to get it, and his exact words was "Fuck platformers" lol

I posted the launch trailer on my facebook a few days ago just to see some of my friends reaction to the beauty of that game a some of them bought it yesterday. Most bought it on PC and I can see two of my friends on X1 are playing Ori. I think MS should really consider a physical release. A lot of people just don't use internet to download their games because of stupid caps. Some sort of Arcade bundle.

I think if the reaction is loud enough they will put it in retail this holiday.  Id like to see them franchise it as well though.  Glad they put it on PC to get as many people invested in it.  I know some people arent big into the PC/XB stuff, but im personally not against it as I feel XB is the more mainstream product where PC is more core driven by people who venture the net a lot.  MSFT just needs to be smart and know what should be on PC/XB and what should only be XB.  Just my two cents anyways

It'd be really nice to see microsoft/moon studios spearhead the "buy on xbox/pc, get it free on pc/xbox" starting with Ori.  Would definitely make sense with the launch of windows 10.  Perhaps they're already planning on this.

That would be nice.  Im really excited to see what W10 brings to the table as for gaming.  I like the direction of Consoles and PC being one, but it has to be done right.  I know one thing though....the social aspect is a lot better on XBL on PC than it is on XBO.  Like viewing clips and stuff people shared is just easier to navigate.  I did this on Xbox.com the other day so id assume W10 XBL app is similar

Homefront: The Revolution has been delayed to 2016

Is anyone really even looking forward to this game here?

I really didn't think much of the first one (the story was pretty decent though).

With the delay of my most anticipated game I dont know how long I can resist another console especially Xbox One with its exclusives. Tough time ahead. Lets see how much I can hold out.

"XBE Officially Becomes Most Successful VGC Thread, Most Viewed and Most Commented" on one hands that's brilliant, having such an active Xbox community, will really help encourage the Xbox users lurking to sigh up. On the other hand, when you consider how small the Xbox community is it speaks volumes on how this forum/mods have completely failed to create a fair and equal place for Xbox users , by continuously ignoring the constant Xbox bashing and to point what can only be seen as encouraging bullying to towards the Xbox minority you end up with the current situation. I don't think we should be celebrating how a handful of users batting for the minority fan base have managed to turn they're nation thread into the most successful because of why that's happened - there's really no point going outside this thread if your an Xbox user when the forum is so heavily anti MS - but that's not to take anything away from the success here, we should be celebrating the fact the small handful of us have managed to put up with the shit long enough that we are arguably the only place for Xbox users out there. So congrats guys!

Youre right.  Ironically this thread has helped grow the XB fanbase over the years, as before XBE the XB fanbase was pretty much dead.  For as much criticism this thread gets, Im glad that everybody comes in here and has a good time

I have yet to try it on web but as a Windows Insider I can assure the Xbox App on Windows 10 is great even though the app is in its beta state but it runs very well. The implementation of Activity feed and social aspects such as messages, commenting, browsing videos and other stuff is great and at times it is even better than doing the same on Xbox One I hope Ms has planned a major Xbox One UI update to change things I mean the UI is good but 360 was way better.
