-_- I really dont think thats the case. And you really are going to have to accept Xbox has never been a japanese console. Im sorry, i just dont agree with you here. Love you though, but im not sure why this has to be said so much.
Do they really need to tease battletoads 2 times before the actual announcement?
Not exactly that big of a game to deserve so many teases.
With that said, I want it.

For Rare fans its a big deal. And anybody who played games in the 90s knows Rare well. Not a huge game, but none the less, exciting

360 was pretty japanese, they lost all support this gen.
And with that lots of potential consumers, their loss realy. Spencer to the power.
No matter how many times it is said to me, when I look at facts both Xbox original and 360 had plenty of jp support and exclusives.

I'm not big on rare, never was on Nintendo side.
But I would say this to any game, one tease (shirt) is funny and cool, two is just too much.. Just announce the game.

No not really. It had some games early on and lost it over time. X360 sold 1.66m consoles in Japan in 9 years. Not really outstanding or anything. It was their early support that helped, but as time went on Japan cared less and less about xbox until you are where you are today. The whole, we need to get japanese games on Xbox isnt exactly up to Phil Spencer or Microsoft. Its up to japanese devs, because there is no way that theyre going to pay every single japanese dev for miniscule sales. Instead he has focused on bringing bigger games like Scalebound, and possibly more. But if you bought XBO for niche japanese games then im going to say that was your mistake and noobody else's when XB gets the least support from japanese devs out of all three

That's not really accurate. The original Xbox got quite a few Japanese games, thanks to a partnership with Sega after Sega backed out of the hardware business. And during the years when Peter Moore was head of Xbox he invested pretty heavily in Japanese games. It was thanks to his efforts that games like Tales of Vesperia, Star Ocean: The Last Hope, Infinite Undiscovery, The Last Remnant, Blue Dragon, and Lost Odyssey came to Xbox 360. He was even indirectly responsible for Final Fantasy XIII coming to Xbox 360, which was one of the biggest upsets of the 7th generation. People like me and Tiago got an Xbox One because we thought Phil Spencer would support Xbox One with Japanese games the same way that Peter Moore did (I mean Phil even promised Japanese support in a December 2013 interview). Fortunately for me I like alot of Microsoft's 1st party franchises, as well as western 3rd party franchises. Tiago isn't as lucky. Phil's lie kind of screwed Tiago over, so I'm sure you can see why he is upset. |
Thanks, that's exactly my point.

I don't agree at all, but let's imagine that I do.
Microsoft isn't even getting the big japanese games... Street fighter, persona, level 5 jrpg, etc..
