20% is a pretty nice boost. Should allow more developers to hit 1080p, and there will simply be no excuse for not hitting 900p anymore (looking at you Kojima!).

Pretty good indeed. I don't have any problem with XBO power, more than good enough.

That cross play game sounds fun, f2p tho.

So they are wasting their first party power on the lens thing.. Hopefully just those new studios

No.  Hololense isnt exactly like Kinect where it changes the entire experience, rather it enhances it.  So the games should be able to play without Hololense

Gigantic looks pretty awesome in that gameplay trailer. I wonder if it'll be F2P?

It will, at least the '14 announced said it was.

i dont think he said that and that people are just implying it

Spencer says that building first party games games are important, but it’s also key to partner with other developers and bring them onto the platform.

New Game Teased

Microsoft keeps the Battletoads buzz alive at GDC.

During Xbox boss Phil Spencer's Game Developers Conference panel today, it was announced that the Battletoads will be making an appearance in the Xbox One version of Shovel Knight--and it was teased that that is not all that awaits the long-dormant franchise.

At the end of a Shovel Knight trailer showing off universal app support, the Battletoads made a brief appearance, teasing their inclusion in a future update to the platforming game. This was followed by ID@Xbox head Chris Carla making a quip about where we might see the Battletoads next.

This is just the latest tease of a new Battletoads game from Microsoft. The company renewed a Battletoads trademark last year, sparking speculation that a new game could be in the works. Most recently, Spencerwore a Battletoads t-shirt during a presentation he made in January. Later, when asked about its significance, he responded, "I don't think I've ever worn a t-shirt that's been a complete head-fake. I wouldn't do that."

The Battletoads series was developed by Rare, the same company responsible for Donkey Kong Country,GoldenEye, and (these days) Kinect Sports. It's been more than two decades since the last Battletoads game was released, but the franchise still has a fervent fanbase.

As I've said before, that wouldn't be such a bad thing, but only if Microsoft builds a proper Steam competitor Xbox store on PC, and allows those PC games to be played on Xbox One's version of Windows 10. In the long run we'd probably end up with more Japanese games on Xbox One that way than we would normally, since there are already alot of Japanese games on PC and the number is only increasing.

That won't happen.

This is what will happen:

less exclusives -> less sales -> less jp games

i highly doubt games like gears or halo will end up on pc.

and i think people are just exaggerating his comments.
