Forums - Microsoft - Xbox Empire - New thread up soon!

If it's like KI like Jay noted, I think that's fine. I don't get how people complain that much about that model unless they want to buy the whole thing, and if they want to do that they can buy the whole season pass, or wait until later when everything is released.

Not interested in Fable Legends that much at all, so I'll skip.

You can all enjoy the f2p, doesn't change the fact it was changed to be f2p.

I will skip it. Not like I have much to play but I'd rather play some 360 jrpg in the spare time or gears3.

You always complain about this which would help you to play with more friends. You complain that this game is F2P even with a good F2P model, you complain when games also go to PC even if they are cross-play games and meant to be played with friends, it's really hard to understand your logic sometimes when you are against the chance to play with more friends in games meant to be played with them.

Millions of people on this planet can play a game like LoL with pretty much all their other gaming friends since like everyone has it on PC, there was never a time before where people had the chance to play multiplayer with so many different friends in different genres, just start to accept that there are also positives and that not everything is always bad like you try to let it look.

To hope that you get as less friends as possible to own the same multiplayer game as you is pretty odd to be honest. In the case of Fable Legends we are talking about a "almost no friend would own it"  situation with a game without F2P and only on XBO to a "pretty much everyone can try it out with me" change with PC cross-play and F2P.

Sometimes it's really hard to understand why you are an Xbox owner if you don't seem to be a big fan of what Xbox always was about (also not of some of their most popular IPs) and when you seem to like a lot of stuff which was never really  big on Xbox.

You are assuming I would have friends playing something outside of Fifa or fm, lol. Clearly we live in different countries.

you think so? You don't even own the XBO, I would dig all XBO games on pc if I was on the same situation.. Obviously.

i already told you how I dislike all Sony first party games, your logic says "for the most people to enjoy" right? That's why I want third parties on XBO that were supporting 360 last gen, how is that strange? I never owned the original Xbox but the x360 offered what I wanted.

What is big on Xbox? Fable, forza, gears and halo right? I like them all expect fable, I'm tired of fps so I won't pay full price for any for a while, I'm a casual racing player, I like to play sometimes so it isn't something I'd pay full price either.

Edit: you seem to forget the whole point. I will explain it again.

Less true exclusives -> less XBO sales -> even less third parties on XBO

you play on pc so you won't understand how annoying is to see jp games going ps + pc, just cause.

I expect you as my team mate in Fable Legends Tiago.

Killer Instinct League Play Kicks Off Tomorrow

The battle for the Top 32 starts tomorrow!

Competitive matches are the lifeblood of fighting games, and something that the
Killer Instinct team is passionate about. When we brainstormed what Killer Instinct Season 2multiplayer would look like, we felt strongly that Season 2 had to bring something fresh to fighting games, not just the same ‘ol thing that only appeals to hardcore players. The all-new Ranked Leagues gives everyone something to play for.

Ranked Leagues is the monthly battle to climb up the ranks and become a feared and renowned Top-32 “Killer.” Like any professional event, Ranked Leagues begin with qualifiers. The first time you enter the Ranked Leagues landing page, you qualify by playing 10 matches that determine where you are initially placed in the League’s tiered ladder system. Based on your performance, you’ll be grouped with players of a similar skill level in the Bronze, Silver or Gold Tiers. Then the battle is on to reach KILLER status!

Every Tier game matches players up with similar skill levels. Bronzes play Bronzes, Silvers play Silver, and so on. A shiny, new Player Card banner will show everyone the status you’ve reached. As the battles rage on, you can gain or lose Ladder points and Rank Titles, but once you’ve made to a Tier, you can’t fall out of it. No need to stress out about flubbing a match or two! Occasionally, you’ll even match up with someone outside of your Tier, but bonus Tier Points make it well worth your while for you and your opponent to take the risk. After you reach a certain threshold of Tier points, you graduate to the next Tier. And once you’ve progressed to the KILLER Tier, everything changes!

KILLER Rules

  • Killer vs. Killer Ranked Matches are now BEST two out of three, a staple of tournament fighting.
  • Unlike Tournament fighting, you cannot counter-pick between rounds, keeping matches as brisk as possible.
  • The Killer Tier is reset every month and the Top 32 Killer players at the end of the month are rewarded PRO Status, immortalizing them in that month’s Leaderboards, in addition to unlocking special Player Card PRO stars.

With the monthly Killer tier turnaround, it’s always a frantic and fun race to the Top 32, especially when the warning bell rings. And if you don’t make it one month, no big deal. There’s always next month, when we reset the KILLER leaderboards, so everyone has a shot to get to the top again. The cool thing is that this ladder structure makes every game count, while also matching you with players that have similar skills. Ranked Leagues BETA starts tomorrow and we hope you’ll join!

I like watching KI almost as much as I like to play it. The competitive guys are really good, much much much much better than I will ever be. It is fun though playing  a series of 5 or 6 games vs a guy online even if I'm not winning.

lol you better find someone else. Unless it got easy achievements.

Brothers was pretty easy all around, just found the last boss kinda broken.

that was after the achievements, but I cleared the game anyway. The ending ended up being the best part. It was better than child of light, worse than max. About 6.8/10.

Yeah, I didn't find it too difficult, and I agree that last boss was kind of janky, if she got on top of your brother when they were near a wall there was no way to build up enough momentum to knock her off of him and you failed.

You're right about the ending, it was really good. I very rarely get emotional about a game but that ending hits you like an 18 wheeler, lol.

Yup.

Pretty good, almost made me forget how I never got used to the controls :p

I wonder how can they do a sequel out of it.

The game looks pretty cool. I am surprised there is no announcement of what platforms the game is on.

I doubt they'll make a direct sequel, it'll probably be set in the same universe but focused on different characters, though some characters from the first game might make cameo apperances. It may even have totally different gameplay mechanics, could be an RPG for instance, the universe seems perfect for an RPG. 505 games bought the IP for $500k though, that's alot of money so I'm sure they plan to do something with the IP.

I never thought the universe was so brutal, those last few chapters were pretty crazy. But we were in the background of something that already had happened, so maybe a prequel?

I guess we won't be seeing more naughty bear for a while.
