I'm not sure I understand what you mean. Unless you just meant "3D platformers like Super Mario Galaxy".

The siliconera article is more complete, that's a koei + Microsoft partnership did the new XBO bundle they have there.
Nice to see them being partners.

I agree but Rare has always been about new IP. They never sit on a franchise for too long.

Not holding my breath on that. I'll just keep my expectations low.

Xbox One Burgers Now Available in Hong Kong
Hungry? Why not have a tasty Xbox burger and a delicious beverage to wash it down? In Hong Kong, you can. Fast food chain Triple-O's is teaming up with Microsoft for the Xbox One Burger. It's available for a limited time only, and from the looks of it, the meals appear to be either the standard Original Burger with a beef patty and Triple "O" sauce or the Chicken Supreme Burger with grilled boneless chicken and honey mustard mayo.
[Photo: Nextplus] According to HKGolden and Siliconera, Microsoft is also including burger vouches with console bundles to celebrate the Lunar New Year.
[Photo: HKGolden] The Triple-O's location in Hong Kong's Wanchai has been converted into an Xbox One-themed restaurant until the end of March.

Wow this was unexpected.
Now if Microsoft does something similar in the US with McDonalds that would be great
Proud to be a Californian.

Kameo and Battletoads should've been released last generation. They quit on Banjo and Perfect Dark then MS just stuck them on KS.

If they just consistently make quality titles I don't think they need to reuse old IPs to please fans. Rare is a bit like ND in that regard, they make new IPs, stick with them for perhaps a gen, then they start over. Now, while we might want Sony to make another Jak or another Crash, we still are pleased by ND when they make titles of very high quality like UC and TLOU. The same thing could work for Rare imo, but of course I don't have any attachment to old Rare IPs, so I'm sure others views will differ.

I agree with you here. BUt i still want to see some of their old ip come back. Id like to see them balance it personally

They could do it kinda like they did with Killer Instinct, outsource some of their old unused IPs to other devs. There are many smaller devs capable of making good entries in franchises like that, and it would be good for the dev because it's easier to work on an established franchise than it is to make new ones (case in point, Ready at Dawn and their PSP games in established franchises versus The Order). This would be like what Sony did with Sly 4 (which you should play btw ), they outsourced it to Sanzaru, a relatively unknown dev, and it turned out great. That way they could use their old IPs, improve and build relationships with new devs, while Rare and their other studios could keep on working with what they want.
