Good luck OnlyForDisplay! Exciting isn't it?

It sure is! Broadening horizons is a good first step for any gamer!

Very much so. Having access to all systems allows me to appreciate the good and bad in all of them. Far too many people just discredit one company or another due to "console wars"; but the only person you're hurting is yourself, because you'll be missing out on a load of great games.

Obviously there's other reasons but "brand loyalty" is quite weak IMO.

If I could I would get them all, but that's impossible.

Yeah hence the bolded

It's also the only reason I have access too; don't have the money to spend on videogames. We've got a pretty good system going here though.

I wish my parents weren't so old school(what is a pc? where is the mouse?!), I can't really ask for money from them.

Heh, my Dad still calls everything either a "Playstation" or a "Gameboy". Though I'm pretty sure he just does it to wind me up nowadays so I've kinda started joining in. He's a big gamer (we go through games together when I'm back home quite a bit, it was GTA V/Into the Nexus last Christmas and Forza Horizon the one just gone, with countless other examples) so he knows the difference.

Sounds like a pretty unfortunate scenario though. I suggest you come visit me and we can play games together. That should solve it.

Oh yeah, supposedly I got the new playstation now.......... but that's 99% of the country, not just him. My mother understands (that I own the xbox, not the ps) tho.

He now likes to say how amazing the games look on the tv tho, that's a start(I'm using other tv now, still old but HD). He's a movie nerd, that's what he does all day, watching movies.

It's small steps in the right direction I suppose. Sit him down, give him a remote and play against him in Forza and you'll be well away (maybe).

Also damn you for getting that 71k post. I'll just be happy that you're in a nice Cone sandwich

I actually do get all consoles because i enjoy games from each

Example would be this year PS4, Bloodborn, XBO Tomb Raider Nintendo Xenoblade. Other examples could be used.

But i also buy handhelds like Vita and 3DS

Shield is kind of just a novelty for me to play PC games on a handheld because i like them.

You can say what you want about me leading XBE but i really do like all games.
