You have to remember though that MS didn't advertise games like Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon all that much, at least in the West. Might have had big ad campaigns in Japan but I personally wouldn't have even known that Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon existed when they first released had a friend who was a Final Fantasy fan not told me about it at the time, I saw zero ads for Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. So the fact that they sold 600k in the west without advertising is pretty good imo.

Also 500-600k sales can be good depending on the budget of the game. Look at the Atelier series, games in it sell 400k or less yet Gust and Koei Tecmo make a profit on them because they keep the budget under control.


Definitely a Lost Odyssey commercial here. I remember it pretty well. Both those games deserved to be 2-3M sellers. Underrated

Their is a New Eu law about VAT. Normally when you download something from Itunes/XBLA/PSN the download include the tax from Luxembourg (15%) but now if you download a game in the UK/Belgium/SPain whatever you have to pay the VAT from the country so guess most countries will see a rice in price of digital games;

It starts from the 1st of January.

And yes I am still playing Minecraft :).

Hey shika I got my Xbox One all set up. I'll be going to pick up a control charger the day after Xmas though before I have fun with it.

The roommate is leaving tomorrow to spend Xmas morning/noon with his family so he insited I opened the present today. I'd love all the sales I can get. But I also remembered I gotta be careful with too many digital copies at least for now till I get an external hd.

In regards to an earlier conversation about Xbox support in Japan:

I'm afraid Xbox One won't get much support there, you're better off just buying a PS4 if you want Japanese games.

What about people who like both worlds (like me), but can only buy one system?

I mean, I dislike Sony first party a lot.. I don't like gods of wars, uncharters, lbps and so. I really dig gears, but I can't also live without JP games, I'm totally in a terrible situation right...

I find tales overrated, and I own a vita to get persona in the future...

I'm worried about the future after that. At the moment, there isn't anything coming exclusively to ps4 that I can't play with my XBO/PSV/3DS set up. (That I care about)
