Hahahaha yeah at least they are present unlike MS :P

Didn't the host said "we are working with Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft to show exclusive content from them"?

Zero, none. ;'(

Phil not being there was fishy, this confirms it sigh

" It was largely composd of gamers who are attending PSX tomorrow though, so it's not too surprising"

I can't help but laugh at this part, for bad reasons :p

I know, lmao. I still laugh when I heard PS fans cheering for Youtube on PS4 this past E3. (rofl)

I don't find it normal to don't show up at all, they were giving tickets for the show, they put the damn show on xboxlive, the host teased exclusive world premiere from Microsoft last week... Was there a change of plans?

Yeah, showing the awards on Xbox Live even when they were pretty much a show to present Nintendo and Sony games and to give Xbox fans ticket to this show is super weird when MS had pretty much nothing for this evening.

I can only think about two logical possibilities but the first still means that they should have been there with some stuff

1. They have something own the next weeks to show some new videos.

2. There happened something between MS and the organizer which caused MS to step back with everything which was planned. There were some Xbox ads but maybe they had already contracts for that so that MS couldn't cancel them.

Both make sense, the second makes a lot of sense imo

So I found that Witcher 3 announcement at the Game Awards pretty fascinating, a 2nd playable character. That Witcher 3 leak awhile back which CD Projekt confirmed was real said that a 4th Witcher game was planned, yet CD Projekt has said on multiple occasions that Witcher 3 would be Geralt's last adventure. That suggests to me that whoever the 2nd playable character in Witcher 3 is will become the main character in Witcher 4. Of course you can't have a Witcher game where the main character isn't a Witcher can you? That doesn't leave many options. I really hope that Ciri is the 2nd playable character in Witcher 3, and that she will be the main character of Witcher 4. She's a particularly interesting character because she has both Witcher training and Sorceress training, a character who is well versed in both melee and magic combat. I love how she used magic to teleport out of the way of that attack in the new trailer:

I wouldn't mind staring at some eye candy if your theory holds true
