is wal-mart even honoring this?
have there been reports of success?

Yeah, I've seen a few pics of people's receipts from Walmart with the $89.99 price honored. Its amazing they were able to get employees to accept it. I'll try to find a pic.

lol, that's so messed up.

you can basically then just do this with any item out there without penalties.

oh well, wal-mart's loss, I guess.  and that's a hefty loss as well.

Here's one I found

dang, haha.

thanks for the pic.

wonder how long before wal-mart catches onto this.  I doubt amazon will really care since they don't stand to incur any losses with this.

As i said it wasnt to the same scale.  It also didnt last very long where as the PS4 has been going on since yesterday noon.

I dont know why Amazon just doesnt shut down third party sellers for Ps4 until they find a way to resolve it because im sure theyre annoyed with having to constantly remove them.  It makes amazon look bad too as im sure customers are calling in complaining about this

Walmart would be better off making sure that the seller actually reputable, they shouldn't be price-matching some random guy selling a product. They could have avoided this by having a pre-selected list of trusted sellers from Amazon that they would price match. Amazon has been around for a while, so its kind of sad that Walmart didn't have some kind of plan in place for a situation like this.

THe problem was that people were making names sound legit.  A few of the names i saw included

SONY Official
Amzn Electronics
Amazzon Electronics
Price4Less

Etc.

Right, but right next to that name it should show the seller rating/feedback. Those sellers you listed would have said "Just Launched" right next to them. If Walmart had gone the extra step and asked to see whether the seller was reputable or had been around for a while, then they would have seen that these sellers were brand new and probably were full of crap.

You'd think something like this would have happened much earlier rather than now. Wonder if someone was just pissed that xbox one was getting some nice sales this month and wanted to see if they could turn it around with this scam.

best buy's best-sellers just got updated again.
Halo MCC still top-selling game from charts, ahead of all new releases.

and the best thing about best buy's 1k+ reviews for Halo MCC (which has an average rating of 4.5), the large, large majority of the reviews are "verified purchase."

So MCC launch was not good as we all expected and few gaming websites went too harsh, I was thinking now it does not deserves those good 10's however they should improve the score

Surprisingly Titanfall lived upto the expectations of many and now has so much more content. Not to mention way less server issues. Titanfall delivered the hype

the only reason I didn't buy titanfall upon launch was due to it lacking variety.  It's there now, but that variety wasn't there when it needed it the most for launch.  I'll probably pick up the game now.

Yes I agree with you but we need to appreciate how Respawn has continued to support their game. I think you should buy that game as soon as possible since whenever I play it on Pc i see 700-950 people playing attrition and if all combined together they are at times as high as 3500 on Xbox One numbers should be higher I guess
