Very much so! I (like Seece and I imagine many others) expected around the 100k mark for the Wii U. So, despite lacklustre numbers in Japan, the Wii U had a very positive week indeed. 

Let's hope the X1 is adjusted up, and moreover sales pick up post E3.

Been playing through Blue Dragon yesterday and will resume today. Did a new game and all, and I'm really enjoying it more! Maybe I played it too young, or something, lol? My other playthrough had me at disc 3 and at 57 hours before I quit playing.
My ultimate challenge to myself is to beat the game... by June 9th :O
Will I succeed? Probably not. But worth a shot, lol!

Also realized Kluke's voice actress is Tara Strong...

Fixed, I don't see it getting such a big boost in the US (of what I can only image is like 100k boost.) WiiU barely did that on Black Friday.

Just my mere mortal opinion tho, Nintendo shipments should reveal more.

Yeah those are the current Global numbers but something seems very suspect about them.

NPD and as you say Nintendo Shipments should hopefully clarify things somewhat; perhaps even E3 if they bother to give numbers.

They never say service based core game. That's only in the headline. What it actually says in the article is that this lead role must have experience developing services based on core AAA games. 

That's basically extensions like smartglass companions, Halo Waypoint, etc...

Service-based often means Pay-to-Play. So an MMO maybe?


The headline is misleading. The article actually says nothing about a "service based core game" 

What it actually states is that the person who fills this role must have experience with both AAA games, and services that compliment then

Random thought of the day. If MS ever wanna make a VR headset....fuck making it as small as possible and sleek and shit. Make it a full blown Master Chief helmet that can have Cortana pull up info and shit for you on the visor. It would sell like crack cocaine to Halo fans

In fact....someone needs to put me in charge of getting this done ASAP, because now that I've had this thought, I'm not sure I can live without it
